Sail deep into Hong Kong’s wild side on this full-day eco-adventure to Lai Chi Wo, a 300-year-old Hakka walled village tucked inside Country Park. Board a traditional kaito ferry and glide through the pristine waters, passing striking geological landmarks along the way, a scenic 90-minute journey that’s part of the adventure itself.
With your private guide to explain the history, step ashore into one of Hong Kong’s best-preserved Hakka settlements, where ancient feng shui woodlands, restored farmland, mangroves, and a centuries-old village square reveal a way of life shaped in harmony with nature. Wander flat, easy trails past heritage houses, a village temple, and thriving community-led conservation projects, before sitting down to a farm-to-table meal using produce grown right in the village’s revived fields.
With only one boat departing each way per day at 3.30 pm, the island rhythm here is unhurried and immersive, typically a rare, low-impact escape into Hong Kong’s rural heritage and living ecology, far from the city’s skyline.

- Weather: If the Typhoon Signal 3 or higher is hoisted or an official Black Rainstorm Warning has been issued before the charter, all trips will be postponed to a future date in agreement with the booking party. If the event is cancelled, a full refund will be given to the booking party. If a typhoon signal and/or rainstorm warning are hoisted / issued during the charter, the journey will end by dropping off at a safety point to disperse.
