ABOUT THIS TOUR
Tai To Yan, also known as Razor’s Edge Ridge or the “giant razor’s edge” in Cantonese, is a challenging ridge hike in the New Territories’ Lam Tsuen Country Park. The route starts at Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden, climbing a steep, stair-heavy initial ascent through dense forest before breaking through the treeline to a narrow, exposed ridgeline with dramatic drops on either side, chain fences at the dizziest gaps, and panoramic views over Yuen Long Plain, Kam Tin, Lam Tsuen Valley, and Tai Mo Shan. With a summit height of 566 m, it is often compared to Dragon’s Back for its dramatic scenery.
*Recommended for experienced hikers.
