ABOUT THIS TOUR
Lamma Island sits just south of Hong Kong Island, reachable by a ferry ride of roughly 25–45 minutes depending on the pier, making it one of the easiest “escape the city” day trips. Starting and ending at the Central piers, we’ll walk a loop across the island covering Yung Shue Wan, the most populated village, known for its laid-back, bohemian character with shops, handicraft stalls, cafes, beer bars, and a Tin Hau Temple, and Sok Kwu Wan, famous for its seafood and also called Picnic Bay, with nearby sights including its own Tin Hau Temple, the wartime Kamikaze Cave used by Japanese forces in the Second World War, and the Lo So Shing Sitting-Out Area with views back across the bay, before ferrying back to Central.
